WHAT IS BIKE NIGHT?

Charlottesville—a city that spans just over 10 square miles—is not a city friendly to cyclists. Its infrastructure caters to personal vehicles and necessitates their use. This reliance has devastating consequences for our impact on climate, the safety of our community, and to the economic well-being of our working-class neighbors.

We need a transformative infrastructure revolution.

BIKE NIGHT isn’t just a fun ride around the city in a large group with your comrades. It’s also a way for us to experience the deficiencies of our city’s infrastructure together and to have conversations about what needs to change and how we as a collective can make change happen.

We ride in critical mass to keep each other safe. All ages and experience levels are welcome!

Contact us for questions, more details, or just to let us know that we can expect you!
